This is a set of 4 lounge chairs in solid oak and velvet. France, 1950s.
A wonderful design, this is. Light and elegant, but full of detail and charm. Just look at the pointed finials on top of the backrest, the way the legs curl at their bases and the inviting curve of the armrest that goes up and outwards. These are very comfortable chairs with a definite modernist charm.
Very comfortable and upholstered in a rich and luxurious velvet in elegant dark green / brown.
This set of four chairs could be wonderful for a hotel lobby, a cabin or a guest house. Will also be sold as a pair.
Comes in good original condition with slight wear due to age and use.
